A few weeks ago Rachel and Elizabeth decided our house wasn't quite fancy enough for their taste, so they went to work.
Their first project was touching up the stairs a little bit. They used an assortment of blankets with jewelry and headbands scattered around to give it that extra fancy look:
After that they decided that the tile in our front entry was embarrassingly plain, to they gave it the same treatment as the stairs, only this time they added some letter magnets to make it even more glamorous. I guess letter magnet bling is very "in" right now.
Last but not least, they decided the kitchen table could use a little work. Unfortunately by this time they had run out of blankets and jewelry, so they had to settle for emptying out my dishcloth drawers (they are very resourceful like that).
Here is the table after a complete makeover:
I don't know. Do you think they are ready to have their own design show?

very fancy, and free! i'm impressed. maybe they can come to my place and do a no-cost makeover here.
In my opinion they're better than some of the designers on Trading Spaces. Get them an agent ASAP!
love the alphabet letter bling. we need our girls to live by each other. although maybe things would get too creative then?
LOL!! You're girls make MUCH cuter messes(aka interior designs) than mine! I would love to have them decorate anytime (maybe they can add some bling to the camping mess that's still sitting up in my loft!; )
i love it. elsa loves to "decorate" our house too. i had to hide all the blankets because i was getting sick of picking them up. i guess i'm not a very good mom for not encouraging her creative outlets.
Your kids are so creative! :)
